REsimpli is proprietary software built for real estate investors: one system that takes a deal from the list to the closing table to the P&L. Left Main REI is a real estate investor CRM built on Salesforce. Both are real products for the right buyer. This article is about which buyer you are.
Everything here about Left Main REI comes from its published pricing, Terms of Service, and knowledge base as of October 19, 2026, and links to the clause or page it comes from. Everything about REsimpli reflects the latest version, released on September 12, 2026.
1. Why we built REsimpli
Before REsimpli, I closed more than 500 real estate transactions. The hard part of that business was never finding deals. It was running it across six pieces of software that did not know about each other: a CRM here, a dialer there, a separate texting platform, a disconnected skip-tracing tool, and numbers on QuickBooks.
REsimpli exists so an investor can go from a list to a closed deal and a P&L, and change how that system works without filing a ticket. The latest version of REsimpli, 6.0, is the biggest step we have taken toward that: a rebuild of pipelines, automations, dialing, dashboards, and bookkeeping around how an investing company actually operates.
2. Stay on Left Main if
- You have full-time Salesforce developers on staff
- You’d rather pay for the CRM, then pay again for phones, texting, a dialer, a website, buyer data, and maps, and manage every vendor yourself.
- You have a process you won’t change often, and you have a budget for Professional Services hours when you do.
- You want lending and title referrals inside the CRM. Left Main introduces you to third-party partners. REsimpli doesn’t.
Left Main’s own comparison, REsimpli Alternatives for Growing Real Estate Teams, put the difference this way: REsimpli is built to replace apps, while Left Main is built to build companies. We’d put it differently. Left Main is built to extend Salesforce. REsimpli is built to run an investing business.
If the bullets above describe you, stay on Left Main. If they don’t, read on.
3. Why growing teams leave Left Main REI
Investors who move from Left Main to REsimpli tend to name the same reasons. Each one traces back to something in Left Main’s own pricing, contract, or documentation.
- They were hiring the wrong team. This is the one we hear most. An investor signs up to grow an acquisitions team and ends up growing a Salesforce team instead: an administrator to make the changes, a consultant for the ones the administrator can’t, and a standing budget of Professional Services hours. Left Main’s pricing page lists “Customization” and “Cadence Configuration” as Enterprise features; its knowledge base is written for Salesforce administrators and sends non-trivial questions to Salesforce itself. Every hour spent in Object Manager is an hour not spent on the phone with a seller. On REsimpli, the person who changes the pipeline is the person who runs it.
- The bill kept growing. The CRM was the smallest line. Phones, the dialer, texting, the website, buyer data, Salesforce Maps at $45 a user, and county subscriptions for property data each arrived on a separate invoice. The five-person example in section 4 lands at $1,469 a month against $699, before the $3,000 implementation fee.
- Every change waited on someone else. A new lead status is an 18-step walkthrough in Salesforce Object Manager. Cadence automations ship disabled until an administrator configures them. Retired components are removed by the customer. Once the included Professional Services hours are spent, the next change is a quote.
- They hit a ceiling. Enterprise includes 10 seats, with extra users at $80 a month; seats can be added any time but reduced only at the anniversary (Terms, 2.4). And every customer warrants it has 75 or fewer employees, with breach and termination above that (Terms, 3.4).
- The data was a week old and metered. Property Sales AI refreshes every 7 days, matches at 99%, and recommends a person review the misses. DispoSignals allows 20 buyer searches a month. County subscriptions cannot be swapped once bought. REsimpli refreshes daily, nationwide, with unlimited buyer searches.
- Salesforce got in the way. A user who logs in over a VPN can be frozen by Salesforce before anyone reviews it. A Salesforce security update broke buttons in August 2026. Salesforce sets the MFA and login rules, and Left Main’s support excludes Salesforce platform issues (Exhibit B).
- Help came by ticket. Support is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Eastern, with a 24-hour response target, and getting help on your org means granting Left Main login access for a month. Integrations and custom development are Professional Services at the client’s cost.
- Leaving cost as much as staying. The full annual term is owed if you stop, and on termination access is suspended and data terminated while charges continue (Terms, 2.1 and Exhibit A). Notes cannot be exported without SOQL queries or paid services.
None of these is a complaint about Left Main’s intent. They are what “built on Salesforce” costs a customer in practice: money, time, and headcount that should have gone to the real estate business, spent on the platform underneath it instead. They are also the reasons section 9 exists.
4. What’s included with REsimpli
Every REsimpli plan includes the tools a real estate investor runs the business on. AI is the only add-on. There is no implementation fee.
| Plan | Monthly, billed annually | Users | Phone numbers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | $249 | 1 | 1 |
| Team | $699 | 5 | 5 |
| Business | $1,799 | 15 | 15 |
Included on every plan: unlimited calling and SMS, a triple-line dialer for every user, seller and buyer websites, automations, list builder and list stacking, skip tracing (10,000 to 50,000 a month by plan), unlimited cash buyer searches, Driving for Dollars, unlimited eSign, bookkeeping, dashboards, and an Open API. Unlimited onboarding, an account manager, and live Zoom support come with every plan.
Here is how that lines up against Left Main REI, where the CRM is the subscription and the rest is a list of partners:
| Line item | REsimpli | Left Main REI |
|---|---|---|
| CRM | $249 to $1,799/mo, no implementation fee | $500 to $2,000/mo, plus $3,000 implementation fee on Starter |
| Phone numbers and calling | Included, unlimited | Paid add-on: smrtPhone, RingCentral, or CallRail, billed by that vendor |
| Dialer | Triple-line dialer for every user | Paid add-on: BatchDialer or the phone vendor, billed by that vendor |

A five-person team, side by side
A five-person team needs a CRM, phones, a multi-line dialer, a website, and eSign. Say it makes 5,000 calls and sends 5,000 texts a month. On REsimpli Team, that is $699. On Left Main REI Starter with vendors from Left Main’s own integration wall, at list prices:
| Line item | REsimpli | Left Main REI Starter |
|---|---|---|
| CRM | $699 | $500 |
| Phone numbers and calling for 5 users | Included | $145smrtPhone Standard, 5 users at $29 each |
| Multi-line dialer for 5 users | Included | $450smrtDialer Multi Line, 5 seats at $90 each |
| Dialer usage: 5,000 billable minutes | IncludedUnlimited Calling Minutes | $150at $0.03 per minute |
| SMS usage: 5,000 single-segment texts | IncludedUnlimited SMS | $0within smrtPhone’s pooled allowance |
| Investor website | Included | $99Carrot |
| eSignature for 5 users | IncludedUnlimited eSign | $125DocuSign Standard, 5 seats at $25 each |
| Monthly recurring total | $699 | $1,469 |
| Annual | $8,388 | $17,628 |
| Year One total | $8,388 | $20,628including Left Main’s $3,000 implementation fee |
The CRM line is the only place Left Main REI is cheaper. Everything else runs the other way, stacking a staggering $12,240 in year one alone.
Pricing note: figures are based on public prices from smrtPhone (Standard, 5 users at $29), smrtDialer (Multi Line, 5 seats at $90, $0.03 per minute), Carrot, and DocuSign (Standard, 5 seats at $25) as of October 15, 2026; smrtPhone and smrtDialer at monthly rates, while Carrot, DocuSign, and REsimpli use monthly equivalents of annual plans. The model assumes one billable minute per call and excludes taxes, carrier and regulatory fees. This is not a Left Main REI quote. Your stack may differ based on the providers, seat count, usage, and billing terms selected.
5. Getting set up, and getting help
On REsimpli, you can start using the platform the same day. On Left Main REI, it is a project with a fee and a budget of hours.
REsimpli. Import your leads and contacts, pick up phone numbers, build your pipelines and automations in settings, and run the dialer that afternoon. Onboarding is unlimited on every plan: an account manager is assigned at signup, setup calls are unlimited, and support runs on live Zoom, not a ticket queue.
Left Main REI. Starter is $500 a month plus a $3,000 implementation fee. Launch folds implementation in and adds 5 Professional Services hours, while Enterprise adds “premium implementation” and 60 hours.
Read those numbers as Left Main REI telling you how much setup there is. Software that is ready to use on day one does not need a $3,000 fee or a 60-hour budget to configure it.
Left Main’s own docs say its implementation team connects new customers’ phone and SMS providers, that cadence automations ship disabled until an administrator configures them, and that existing customers adopting Next Best Action face a 219-step post-installation guide.
Support afterward is by ticket, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Eastern, with a 24-hour response target, Salesforce platform issues excluded (Terms, Exhibit B).
How long it takes. Left Main’s features page says most investors are up and running within 24 to 48 hours. That is a login. A configured system, with pipelines mapped to your process, cadences built and switched on, a phone provider connected, data migrated, overlapping Salesforce Flows cleared, and retired components removed, is what the 60 hours are for. Full implementation on Left Main REI can take 90 days or more.
| REsimpli | Left Main REI | |
|---|---|---|
| First login | Today, on a 14-day trial | After a sales call |
| Cost to start | $0 | $3,000 implementation on Starter; folded into Launch and Enterprise |
| Who configures it | You, in settings, with unlimited onboarding help | Left Main’s implementation team, within 5 or 60 Professional Services hours |
| Time to a working system | Same day | 24 to 48 hours to a login; a configured system reported at 90+ days |
| Onboarding | Unlimited, every plan, account manager included | Metered hours; more are billable |
| Support | Live Zoom, Email, Chat | Ticket, Mon–Fri 8am–5pm Eastern, 24-hour response; Salesforce issues go to Salesforce |
6. Would you buy a car without driving it?
Nobody buys a car off a brochure. You sit in it, you drive it, you find out whether it fits before you sign anything. A CRM is the car your whole team drives every day for a year. The same rule should apply.
How Left Main sells. Every tier on the pricing page ends in “Talk to sales.” There is a guided demo on their site. Then a sales call. Then an annual agreement, billed monthly, with the full term owed if you stop (Terms, Section 2.1), and access suspended and your data terminated on termination while the charges continue (Exhibit A). You watch the salesperson drive it around the lot, and then you sign a twelve-month lease.
That is not a policy choice. It is what the product requires. Software that needs a $3,000 implementation and a 60-hour services budget cannot hand you a login on day one, because there is nothing to drive until it is configured. No trial is the honest consequence of a product that has to be configured before it works.
How REsimpli sells. Start a 14-day trial, today, without talking to anyone. Import your own leads. Pick up a phone number and make real calls on the triple-line dialer. Build a pipeline the way your team works. Send a text, book an appointment, watch it land on the dashboard. At the end of two weeks, upgrade or walk away, owing nothing.
A demo shows you what the software can do. A trial shows you what your team will do with it at four o’clock on a Tuesday with forty leads in the queue. Whether the calls connect, whether the acquisitions manager opens it without being told to, whether the numbers on the dashboard are ones you’d run the business on. That is what you are buying, and it is the one thing a sales call cannot show you.
Take the car home for two weeks. If it fits, keep it.
7. Built for real estate investors
REsimpli is a dedicated CRM for real estate investors, built and run by real estate investors, and the feature stack proves why that matters.
- Automation triggers that only matter to an investor: direct mail delivered or returned, appointment kept or not kept, offer amount above or below a threshold, contract price versus estimated value.
- A triple-line dialer in every module, for every user, with call outcomes that trigger automations.
- A buyer-facing dispo site with reserve pricing, Buy Now, offer deadlines, and offer submission with proof of funds.
- Comps AI that reads the seller conversation to estimate condition, then produces ARV, repairs, and MAO (AI add-on).
- Dashboards built around the investor funnel (lead, qualified, appointment, offer, contract, sold) with speed-to-lead, contract fallout, and a 30-day cash-flow forecast.
- List stacking with property data refreshed daily, and a Daily Update dashboard that flags new pre-foreclosures, recent sales, MLS changes, and vacancy changes inside your own database.
- Driving for Dollars with routed drives, geofenced actions, and driver-only seats that do not count as users.
- Bookkeeping by property and scope of work, so a flip’s budget-to-actual turns red inside the deal.
None of these are integrations. They are one system, designed around the deal, maintained by one company that answers to investors and no one else.
Left Main’s marketing leads with three data products. REsimpli addresses the same core use cases directly within the platform, with the underlying functionality included in the base plans:
| REsimpli has | Left Main REI sells it as | Difference |
|---|---|---|
| Daily Update dashboard and list stacking tracking motivation and status changes across your whole database, refreshed daily | DealSignals: pre-foreclosure, probate, tax distress, vacancy, ownership changes, expired listings in subscribed counties | Left Main REI offers per-county coverage only, on Launch and up, set up by your Salesforce admin; nationwide coverage and daily updates included on all REsimpli plans |
| Lost Deal dashboard: which leads sold to someone else, profit lost, offer vs. sale price | Property Sales AI: county sales records matched to your leads | Per county, 7-day refresh, 25,000 data-point cap, manual match review recommended; daily and included on REsimpli |
| Cash buyer search (unlimited), MLS comps (included), Comps AI (add-on) | DispoSignals: buyer search, investor activity, comps | 20 Buyer Search runs a month vs. unlimited in REsimpli |
8. REsimpli is built to scale
REsimpli is built for the whole range, from a first deal to multiple markets with dedicated acquisition, disposition, and operations teams. 6.0 added what larger teams asked for: up to 20 pipelines with 20 stages each in every module, lead access scoped by campaign, pipeline, or assignment, multiple acquisition and lead managers on one lead, unlimited custom roles, enforced two-factor authentication with device login history, multi-entity books, an Open API, and a Business plan with 15 users that can be expanded. Many REsimpli customers close 100+ deals a year on it today.
One contract note for anyone planning to grow: Left Main’s Terms of Service (Section 3.4) require every customer to warrant it has 75 or fewer employees, and treat exceeding that as a breach that permits termination. REsimpli’s terms have no employee cap.
9. Built on Salesforce vs. built for investors
When you buy REsimpli, you get one piece of software, written by one company, for one kind of customer. The data model is a deal: lead, contact, property, buyer, transaction, inventory, rental. The dialer, the automations, the dashboards, the dispo site, and the books are all parts of that one system.
When you buy Left Main REI, you get a Salesforce org with Left Main’s investor objects, cadences, and data products installed in it. That is their description, not ours: their site says the platform is built on Salesforce and carries a Salesforce Consulting Partner badge in its footer. Everything that makes it a CRM (the database, the interface, the reporting engine, the automation tooling, the security, the hosting, the release cycle) is Salesforce’s.
| REsimpli | Left Main REI | |
|---|---|---|
| Who wrote the CRM | REsimpli | Salesforce |
| Data model | Designed around deals | Salesforce objects, extended by Left Main REI |
| Changing a pipeline, stage, field, or role | A settings page | Salesforce configuration; Professional Services hours (5 on Launch, 60 on Enterprise) |
| Phone, SMS, email, websites | Native | Third-party vendors |
| Who sets the roadmap | REsimpli | Salesforce for the platform, Left Main REI for the layer |
| Who you call when it breaks | REsimpli | Depends on which layer broke |
The practical difference is who can change things and how fast. On REsimpli, pipelines, stages, fields, roles, call outcomes, automations, dashboards, and notification rules are settings you change yourself, today.
On Left Main REI, changes go through Salesforce configuration; the person doing that work needs to know Salesforce, not real estate, and anything beyond the included hours is Professional Services at the client’s cost. And because Salesforce sets its own release schedule, Left Main REI has to absorb platform changes before it builds anything for you.
REsimpli 6.0 shipped 20-stage pipelines, a triple-line dialer, native automations, and a bookkeeping engine because investors asked for them, not because a platform permitted them.
Built on Salesforce means, in practice, built for the people who know Salesforce. REsimpli is built for the people who close deals.
10. Before you sign with Left Main REI
Left Main’s contract and knowledge base answer questions its pricing page does not. None of it is hidden; all of it is worth asking a sales rep about in writing.
From the contract
Left Main’s Terms of Service is a Salesforce reseller agreement with Left Main’s products attached: Salesforce is a named third-party beneficiary and its reseller pass-through terms are incorporated by reference. Five clauses to read before signing:
| Clause | What it says | What to ask |
|---|---|---|
| 3.4 | The customer warrants it has “seventy-five (75) or fewer employees.” Exceeding 75 is a breach and grounds for immediate termination. Employees, not CRM seats. | What happens to our contract and data at employee 76? |
| 3.5 | No custom objects beyond those supplied, and no functionality beyond the user guide, without a separate agreement with both Salesforce and Left Main. | Which Salesforce features are we allowed to use, and who builds what the package doesn’t ship with? |
| 3.7(b) | If Salesforce or any third-party platform, data provider, or carrier changes its terms, Left Main may modify or discontinue the affected feature on shortened notice, with no liability. The August 13, 2026 release note shows what that looks like: buttons that stopped working after a Salesforce security update. | When Salesforce breaks something, what is the turnaround? |
| 2.1, Exhibit A | Annual term, billed monthly. Full-term payment owed even if you stop using the service. On termination, access is suspended and your data terminated immediately while monthly charges continue through the term. | If we terminate in month four, what do we pay for months five through twelve? Have counsel read this one. |
| 2.4, 4.3, Exhibit B | Users can be added any time but reduced only at the anniversary. Price increases at renewal are accepted by silence after 30 days. Support is by ticket, Mon–Fri 8am–5pm Eastern, excludes Salesforce platform issues, and integrations and custom development are Professional Services at your cost. | What does the eleventh seat cost, what was last year’s renewal increase, and what is the Professional Services hourly rate? |
From the documentation
The knowledge base is written for Salesforce administrators, and it reads like it. Six things a buyer learns there:
- Changing a lead status is an 18-step walkthrough in Salesforce Object Manager, across the picklist editor and a field-dependency matrix (Add a New Lead Status). The “Customize Left Main” section of the docs contains two articles. On REsimpli, a stage is a drag in pipeline settings.
- Property Sales AI refreshes every 7 days, matches addresses at 99% accuracy, plans no enhancements for the misses, and recommends a person review matches weekly or monthly (data guide). The desk reference still calls it a beta. REsimpli refreshes daily.
- The QuickBooks integration is one-way into one marketing dashboard and is explicitly not for invoicing, taxes, or CPA reporting (overview). It is also Enterprise-only.
- Mapping is Salesforce Maps at $45 per user per month, installed by your Salesforce administrator (purchasing Maps).
- Salesforce can freeze a user for logging in over a VPN, before any admin reviews it, and the user is locked out of Left Main until your administrator restores the account (account frozen). If you run offshore cold callers or VAs, read that page twice.
- Notes cannot be exported with a report or object export; getting them out means SOQL queries and a spreadsheet join, or paid services (notes export). Price that in before you ever want to leave.
The pattern across Left Main’s documentation: when something needs doing, the answer is your Salesforce administrator, Left Main Professional Services, or Salesforce itself. The pattern across REsimpli’s is a settings page.
11. Choose REsimpli if
- You want calling, texting, dialing, websites, buyer data, eSign, and books in one subscription, with no implementation fee.
- You want to change your own pipelines, stages, and automations without a ticket or a consultant.
- You want property data refreshed daily, nationwide, with no county to subscribe to.
- You plan to grow past 10 seats, or 75 employees, without renegotiating a contract.
- You want unlimited onboarding, an account manager, and live Zoom support on every plan.
- You want to try the product before you talk to anyone.
Frequently asked questions
Is Left Main REI a white-label version of Salesforce?
No, and we are not saying it is. Left Main is built on Salesforce under a partner distribution agreement, with its own investor objects, cadences, and data products (DealSignals, DispoSignals, Property Sales AI) added on top. What you license is Left Main’s configuration of Salesforce, restricted by Salesforce’s embedded-edition terms (Terms of Service, Section 3.5). It is not Salesforce itself, and it is not a standalone CRM.
Does Left Main require a Salesforce developer?
Not for everything. Changes beyond the Professional Services hours included in your plan (none listed on Starter, 5 on Launch, 60 on Enterprise) are billable, and the person making them works in Salesforce configuration. On REsimpli, pipelines, stages, fields, roles, automations, and dashboards are settings you change yourself.
Does Left Main include calling, SMS, or a dialer?
Left Main’s documentation lists four phone providers that work with its cadences (CallRail, Dialpad, RingCentral, smrtPhone), each through its own package install and subscription, and describes no native calling. REsimpli includes unlimited calling and SMS and a triple-line dialer for every user on every plan.
What does Left Main cost for a five-person team?
Starter is $500 a month plus $3,000 implementation. With phones, a multi-line dialer, a website, and eSign from vendors on Left Main’s integration wall, the worked example above comes to about $1,469 a month and $20,628 in year one, against $699 a month and $8,388 for REsimpli Team.
Does REsimpli have an equivalent to DealSignals and DispoSignals?
In REsimpli, Daily Update and list stacking cover motivation changes in your database. Lost Deal covers what Property Sales AI reports. Cash buyer search and comps cover DispoSignals. They are not identical, but they are included, with no county subscription and no 20-search cap.
Does REsimpli work for large teams?
Yes. 6.0 was rebuilt for it: 20-pipeline modules, scoped access, custom roles, enforced 2FA, multi-entity books, and a Business plan with 15 users that can be expanded. Customers close 100+ deals a year on it. Left Main’s terms cap customers at 75 employees; REsimpli’s do not.
The short version
REsimpli is proprietary software built for real estate investors, with the tools an investor runs the business on included in the subscription.
Left Main REI is a Salesforce org with an investor layer on top, and the implementation fee, metered customization, vendor stack, county-priced data, and 75-employee contract follow from that. If your company already runs on Salesforce, Left Main REI may be the right trade. If it doesn’t, you would be buying a platform to get a product. REsimpli is the product.
